Library

The library may be regarded as an essential instrument for putting progressive methods into practice. In the library each has what he wants, each goes to where his capabilities allow him to go. The library is thus a common platform upon which all students meet on a common level with equal opportunities.

Times College has a library to meet the needs of each & every student. It has a wide area for almost seventy students to sit. The library has a total no. of around 10000 books. The reference room is equipped with the latest books for competitive and M.Ed. entrance exam. The reading room is acquires 10 News Papers, 19 Magazines, 19 Journals. Apart from this, the library contains 30 Dictionaries and 10 Encyclopedia.

E-Library

In the age of the IT advancements college has an E-Library where the students are provided with easy access to E-Learning Audio-Video Lectures, E-Books etc. For this purpose various Video Lecturers have been uploaded on college website. Various software and E-Books are uploaded on the Computers for easy access of students.

PSYCHOLOGY LAB-

Educational Psychology provides a base to education. The aims and objectives of educational Psychology is the development of wholesome personality with continuous growth. It helps the teacher in understanding the human nature. This knowledge of the human nature will lead to the growth of children and will help in the directing of the learning activities. Educational Psychology thus aim the harmonious growth and rightful conduct of the children. It also helps to develop proper attitude in the teacher about the educational problems. Thus Educational Psychology has important place in B.Ed. curriculum. In Times College the lab has a large collection of Psychological tests, charts and batteries. There are almost thirty five inventories and scales related to various aspects of human Psychology.

SOCIAL-SCIENCES LAB-

The college has a well-equipped social studies room cum laboratory. It is well equipped with equipments, apparatuses and material required for the subject, which helps in creating and maintaining a much needed congenial atmosphere for effective learning. It provides a work room for the pupil teachers because activities and the practical solution of problem characterize every unit or topic. The permanent display of important maps and globes, pictures and charts and constant reference to them by teaching is sure to make the teaching of social studies effective, lively and interesting.

Chemistry Laboratory-

The chemistry laboratory is well organized, properly ventilated and contains all the necessary chemicals and apparatus like Kipp’s Apparatus. Distillation Apparatus, Analytical balance, Micropipettes etc. It is also well equipped with latest equipments as UVVIS. Spectrophotometer, Ultrecentrifuge, Rotatory Shaker and Electronic weighing balance to carryout experiments.

Botany Laboratory-

The lab has various models & botanical charts for easy assimilation by the students. It has the facility of Digital pH meter, Rotary Shaker, Laminar Air Flow & Digital Electronic Weighing balance to carry out the various Botany experiments. It is well equipped with all the latest equipments like – Electronic Microscope & Microtome.

Zoology Laboratory-

The zoology laboratory is well equipped with all the latest equipments like Microtome, Light Microscope, Centrifuge, Machine, pH Meter, Electrophoresis, PCR etc. Besides these the lab is enriched with various museum specimen, microscope, slides, charts & models for proper demonstration of experiments to the students.

Computer Laboratory-

The state of the art computer labs are fully equipped with all the latest facilities. There are three labs. The computers have Dual Core Processors. There is 24 x 7 broadband internet facilities for students & faculties. Separate labs for Microsoft Office Specialist online examination and Tally Certification are also available.

English Language Lab-

An English Language Lab has been set up with the state of art cutting edge technology for the enhancement of spoken English and written communication. The students and faculty members are provided with 90 hours of training at three level through comprehensively crafted syllabus. This lab is set up to provide world class facility to the students for learning English language and improve their vocal strength.

Hostel-

When students live far away from family they need an atmosphere where they can feel comfortable and fulfil their motive of getting education in healthy environment. They need proper care and affection, so that they can concentrate on studies with peaceful mind. So we focus on all these facilities to be provided to students coming to our hostel.
The aim of our hostel is to keep complete security and respect to all our students. We maintain high security systems and integrity.

At Times College many students come from all across the nation to get education so to make them feel that as they are in their own home, homely atmosphere is provided in hostel. Caring Warden tight security and airy rooms with good ventilation helps students to focus on academics. All rooms are well furnished with wooden tables, chairs, beds and wardrobes for all students. Personal attention is given to each and every student. Lots of recreational activities like excursions, meditations, exercising are frequently framed to bring out the emotional psychological & intellectual development of the hostellers.

Cafeteria-

College not only focuses or academic but also on health of young learners. For this purpose a hygienic cafeteria lies in our campus which provides healthy, delicious delicacies during and after college hours. Main focus is given on the nutrition level of food items because we know that a healthy nation resides in healthy youth.

Mess Cum Recreation Hall-

In order to provide a family atmosphere to the hostellers, a mess cum recreation hall is attached to both the hostels where they can spend some of their leisure time. A television is setup in the mess area to keep the hostellers linked with day-to-day happenings around the world and also to provide them with some stress free time.

Class Rooms & Activity Rooms-

Spacious and well ventilated classrooms are well suitable to enhance the teaching-learning process. Activity rooms are well furnished with equipments. Dance room is equipped with all sorts of music systems to develop dancing skills. Music room consists various musical instruments Tabla, Guitar, Synthesizer, Harmonium etc. Art room is equipped with various materials related with different art forms.
